Why hasn’t he asked me out yet?

We went to the movies and he held my hand and paid for my ticket, he asked if I got home safely, he tells me he wants to hang out with me again, he texts and ask why wasn’t I at prom because he wanted to take pictures with me, he says I can come over and there’s a possibility I can meet his mom. He’s showing interest but he hasn’t asked me out yet. Why?

Probably just waiting until he sees you behaving in a way that makes the relationship seem more solid.

These things take time to develop. Don't be in such a rush.

He might want to be with you too. Sometimes acting interested involves the woman taking a chance and asking the guy out, herself.
