Why would they let you know where they will be at but won’t invite you?

Hellooooo! Sooo the guy I’ve been with for a long while and I have been seeing each other for years now. We live like 6hrs away from each other so we see each other 1-3 times a month every chance we can get ! I’m kind of confused on why he told me he’s going to be hour away from where I live with a sibling and a “homie” . He mentioned it to me twice but hasn’t told me where when I asked him and didn’t invite me. I feel kind of upset because you know we live so far away from each other and I feel like he doesn’t want to see me. Why is he even mentioned something in the first place?

Maybe he was waiting for an invitation from you or didn't want to impose on you as he had others with him. What are you to him? Are you like friends with benefits? You have been seeing each other for years and get together as much as possible yet nothing has ever developed? Which of you two is the one who travels to see the other for the 6 hr drive? You didn't provide a whole lot of info. Perhaps you don't mean as much to him as you think you do? Hard to say so why don't you just tell them to drop by and you can all go out to dinner. If he turns you down then you have your answer.

The first be mentioned he was going to be nearby I said “sounds cool , we can see each other go have dinner or something “ he didn’t say anything and then he mentioned it to me again recently that he’s going to be going after all. I did mention we can see each other after if he would like but I don’t want to seem pushy if he’s going to be with his sibling and a friend. It’s just odd because he’s always the one that says I’m going to be at such and such place especially if it’s nearby where I live we meet halfway or he picks me up or I go see him he gives me money for gas too since it’s a long drive. Just time he isn’t like “we can meet up for dinner or something “ it’s weird and new. And we are with each other and we have been really trying to make this long distance thing work. I just feel like I’m not wanted at the moment by him.

To me his actions are weird, like he is meeting other girls too when not with you and only gets together with you when all the other girls closer to him are busy. Is he a truck driver or traveling salesman? I don't know. Red flags are dropping from the sky. This is the bad part of a long distance relationship. You don't know for sure what is happening on the other end. Are they married, just looking for some side action, a player. . . etc.
