Support needed for being with a really tall woman?

I'm a 5'4 guy and mostly have been with tall women 5'8 and taller. Women 5'7 and under have rejected me for being too short, but women 5'8+ like my height. I've recently started talking to a few 6'0 - 6'4 women, I liked them all, but there just was no connection except with one girl who is 6'5. She told me that she gets rejected a lot for her height and guys made fun of her so I made her feel better because I've gotten the same treatment and we talked a lot and are now in a relationship together. People seem to be coming up to my girlfriend and telling her that she should get a real man and that she should've gotten a tall man as they are much better than short men. A lot of people make fun of us because usually the guy is supposed to be taller than the girl. Some people seem to think i'm a trans man because i'm so short and i'm skinny. They seem to think my girlfriend is a trans woman because she is so tall and more heavier than I am. so they always stare at us and its extremely uncomfortable. How do we cope with this?

I get rejected A LOT for my height and girls dismissed me for it, so my ex fiancée made me feel better because she was 191 cm, or 6'3.5" and got a little bit of the same treatment, although we connected on a much deeper issue than her being almost five inches taller than me.

Anyway, what I learned from her was to simply say "f*ck the haters!" Ignore those people and just continue to be lucky you too found each other. You're together and hopefully, you're happy. That's all that matters.
