Depends. There was one woman who I connected with early one morning, we were messaging constantly throughout the day. I think if by the evening she had wanted a video call it would have been OK. Others where things have been a slower burn where it might have felt a bit rushed

Texting is probably fine if we had talked for hours or something.

I'm not super fond of voice calls because I'm usually dealing with interruptions during the day or busy working, and trying to put kids to bed at night.
