How far into a relationship should you wait until you have your first kiss?

I’ve been dating this guy I’ve been friends with and had a crush on for months. We have both liked each other for a while and have known each other for at least 8 months. We’re pretty close.

We just started dating like a week ago and we’ve been hanging out a LOT. We cuddle a lot and take naps together and kiss each other on the cheeks and stuff.

Since I don’t think I’m allowed to go over to his house yet, we pretty much just cuddle in the back of his car and cuddle and spoon and stuff and watch movies on my laptop.

The other day he was putting his hand on my thigh and rubbing up and down and even made it to my butt, but we still haven’t even kissed yet.

I think I’m scared, because I haven’t kissed anyone ever. He kisses my neck and face and I think he wants to kiss my lips. Is it too soon since we just started dating, or should I wait?

TL;DR: Me and my boyfriend haven’t shared our first kiss yet. We’ve only been dating for a week and only been on 4 dates. Is it too early or is it normal to kiss soon?

If you're comfortable with him touching your butt and kissing your neck and face, you're definitely ready to kiss! I'd say even passionately at this point. For me I didn't want to kiss until I knew I loved her. I think that's a good standard. It sounds like you're already there. You've known each other for months now. Enjoy some kissing.
