Should I ask if him he has slept with his long time female friend?

My boyfriend has a female friend he has known for 25 years. She is around a lot and seems pretty close to my boyfriend. I want to ask him if they have ever slept together but I’m afraid to piss him off. Should I ask?

my advice to something like this is, 1) how long has this thought been on your mind? 2) and can you give it a month, and see if it's still something you want to ask? if yes, then ask him right away. things that eat you inside will not go away with time. and that's okay. but you have the right to know. and you don't have to feel guilty. abd if he makes you feel guilty for "asking" or "having these thoughts about him" then dont feel guilty. you are in your right, and if he doesn't have anything with his female friend he should understand that giving you a peace of mind is easier, better than making you feel guilty, so that both of you can go forward and work towards an even greater relationship.

so conclusion:
1) if the question's been on your mind for some time, ask away
2) but don't ever feel guilty
3) your boyfriend should know his duty and give you a peace of mind
4) any other than that (if he makes you feel guilty or bad for asking) then you should rethink things about him

You have the right to ask, however, be prepared for the answer you don't want to hear. If you know you'll be okay with them hanging out after you know they've got history than okay.
If you think you're going to have an issue with it, it may create some tension in your relationship.
If you want to ask him, do so in a casual conversation without coming across as accusatory.

I'd just recommend before you ask, think about how you'll react to it, and if you'd be okay with knowing. If you ask and he says no, don't push it.
