What is your online dating experience like?

Online dating is exhausting for me. I never know who I am going to actually meet. Guys are so different IRL than they appear to be on their profile. I'm looking for a man to be a companion for me and eventually marriage but I am not getting that. I feel like IRL I have slim chances of finding someone to date, online dating seems to be a viable option to actually connect and meet new people, which is lame but true especially getting out of the pandemic. Also it's hard to find someone I'm really attracted to. Sigh, online dating is tiresome.

Online dating is an excellent example of a completely deregulated sexual marketplace where the advantage is with all the young beautiful women and only a miniscule minority of men. This has been proven several times with swiping patterns of men and women where men's swiping pattern was bell shaped and even, women's were extremely skewed, meaning while men found most women attractive, women found most men unattractive, or the average man was invisible to the average woman. As a result its the same small section of men who are getting lion's share of the dates while most men are left with nothing. They can pay to play but that does not help much. Just when you are tired and stop your subscription (paying) within days you will get a few matches from bots that will make you resubscribe and later on they will either unmatch or be unresponsive.

I have had great experiences with online dating and I am currently living with a girl I met on zoosk in December 2020. Most people do not realize that online dating requires some different skills than traditional dating but they assume they don't need any help; when they fail, they blame online dating instead of themselves.

It can save me money because I can talk and get to know them and then realize she isn't good enough and not date her IRL.
It seems nearly impossible to find a high quality woman so I'd rather look online so there are many more options once I actually make the effort to do that.

In the past the main problems I had was there are a lot of scammers online, plus the majority of the actual people are only looking for hook ups, or they have kids from past relationships, or they are into drugs or alcohol. There is almost always something, or multiple things that make them totally unacceptable as a partner.

I haven't tried in quite a few years though so maybe things will be different once I actually do try again in the future.

Not good I got scammed the only times I fell in love with a woman, the administrators of the page weren´t much of a help.
Some people get lucky online dating and some aren´t and I´m one of the last part. There are just people that chances aren´t raising dating online because even with a so called interesting bio you´re not getting anywhere.

Absolutely terrible. I could go through hundreds and hundreds of profiles and never get a match. Getting a date is even more rare. Like a once a year occurrence.

It really bothered me, because I used to think I was a good looking guy. I had women approach me in the past, had fwbs, and never had any problem getting a phone number from a girl I hit on. On-line dating is absolutely terrible for me though. I have way more luck just organically approaching a woman and just starting a conversation.
