For the 100th time answering this, I never like to use the word never. Simply put a woman with a child is a big red flag. A woman with a child is as attractive to a man as homeless guy is to a woman.
You really have to vet a woman with a child 2 to 3 times then a woman without, for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't say never, but it's very unlikely I would. For men today, children represent risks and responsibilities without rights. Why would I want to willingly accept that if they weren't even my own kids?

I'm not even sure I want a child, and if I did want a child in the future, it's because I want it with the man I'm with.
But right now, I don't want that.

And then there's also the whole ordeal with the ex, their relationship, to handle the kid, what am I to them? And all is just... no thanks.
A relationship can be difficult enough without all of the extra pressure, responsibility, and possible drama.

And I'm not that big of a kids person, I am even awkward with my nephews, so... No.

No. I want my own child not someone else’s. There’s always exceptions like the woman’s exceptional and the kids not a little dick but as a general rule no. If I’m dating her and like her and her kid becomes a discovery then Ide be angry she didn’t mention but prob wouldn’t leave solely on that unless she hid them from me.

So even if she set her standards lower you would be still be out of there right, so there is a reason that women with reasonable or lower standards for men could be involuntarily single, by being single mothers.

Single mothers NEVER set their standards lower! If anything, they have much higher standards because they expect the men they date to be surrogate fathers to their kids! Which is just one reason why men don't want to deal with that. It's more work for less payoff. And in a single mother's life, a man is ALWAYS going to be dead-last priority. She simply doesn't have time to date. Unless her kids are off in college or grown.

Women in general almost never have "lower standards." Among other reasons, because they are the ones being chased and never have to do the chasing. It does make sense logically, but at the same time, women also complain about being single with all these endless choices, which is the bullsh*t here. If you have a buffet with endless options and you still whine about being hungry because wagyu steak isn't on the menu, then that's on you.

Oh, I don’t know I don’t have kids but I have a friend who’s husband died, she doesn’t date, I just feel bad for her and I doubt her standards are too high. I know other men and women who are single parents because their spouses or significant others cheated on them or let them down in some way so they separated/divorced., I don’t think their standards are unreasonable, one woman is dating a single father, it seems to be working out.

Thank for your misguided, well-intended advice, but in my extensive experience, almost ALL of my former GFs were single, committed, loving mothers. Sadly, things did not work out and we parted amicably.
