Very interesting question. As an Asian man，maybe I would like to date a nice-figured woman，who could also be black woman. However，most Asian men are not like me，they would not choose Black women.
There are several reasons for most Asian men don't choose black women. The first one is cultural bond，for Asian cultures are very different. Then，most Asian men think white skin means fair and smooth，which is very seducive. After that，most Asian men prefer small mouth，hatchet face，and relatively small boned，so they could hardly appreciate most Black women. Finally，most black women have big hips，which is too big for Asian and not considered sexually attractive in Asian culture.
The other way to look at it，black woman seems less interested in Asian man，too. Except for the cultural barriers and dietary habit difference，black women prefer muscle instead of wit，while most Asian men don't work out a lot，and usually cannot do too much physical confrontation in sports.
I am just trying to state the reality. If you find some words hurtful，it is not my intention. For me，I have tried white girl，Lebanese girl and Japanese girl，of course. The skin touch is very different，but I always obsessed with nice tits. Maybe I would date a black girl one day.

But I think there's a decent cultural aspect to it. Where black people are socially in America, they seem to tend towards really strong gender dimorphism. Or rather, in economically-stressful social conditions, we flock towards strong gender dimorphism. So, men liking super curvy women, and women liking bulkier and more super masculine men.
I'm not sure how much east-Asian culture is retained for Asian-Americans, but it's kind of the polar opposite of American-American culture, which generally values boldness and expression, compared to the relatively stoic politeness and formality of eastern cultures.
Or to put it another way (remembering that this is a statistical generalization, since apparently that still needs to be said), the black woman would probably find the Asian guy too passive and unexpressive, and the Asian guy would probably find the black woman too bold and outspoken.
But behind the cultural lines, I do think there's a lot of opportunity for chemistry. It probably just won't come from those who fit the stereotypes.

Chinese men are obsessed with a woman’s charm and social sensitivity and black woman come from a culture that accentuates inner symbols and not outer social context. Black women like power and Chinese men like social sensitivity so the two are like apples and oranges.
Most of the black women I talked with mostly wanted Mexican guys 🤷🏻♂️
