My boyfriend is about to go on a trip to Hawaii by himself for 10 days. He gave me his email in case I'm not able to contact him. Why?

Why is he going on this trip alone? Not the most concerning thing, but definitely something to question. I’ve taken solo trips though while seeing people so it’s not the biggest red flag to me.
As far as the email thing it sounds like he’s just making sure you can get in touch with him regardless. Sounds like he’s been meaning to give it to you even before this trip.
The biggest red flag is the drop in amount of communication you mentioned. If I were you, I’d keep an eye on his patterns while he’s away, for your own records, and when he comes back, see how your trip out to see him goes and if his family gives any weird vibes. Or if your trip even happens after his vacation.
I think email keeps your data on file so it can be accessed for later viewing if the person is located in a place where reception on phones is not available or there are no cost efficient ports for charging your phone
Poor cell reception in many places there, esp away from the cities.
He can access a computer and retrieve his emails very easily.
Updates can happen anytime, not sure why you wouldn't get texts, not a phone expert.
He is simply giving you an alternate way to get a hold of him that he will be able to access.
Think how you would feel if he didn't respond to you if you sent him a text for a few days.
Because he wants to enjoy the holiday and not be on his phone
Is it a red flag
Would you do this to your girlfriend?
Do you think it's normal for me to doubt the relationship
Do you think I should trust him even if he's been texting and calling less?

I wouldn't consider giving you another way to contact him incase his phone doesn't work a red flag... in fact I would consider it a good thing. Reception is hit or miss in certain parts of Hawaii
Wow, if I were you (a girl) I would have dumped him. That is just horribly toxic, A MARRIED man going ALONE with no family members? How untrustworthy of him.
People say this about women all the time, but men should also be loyal to their women
He could be hiding something from you
Dont always think the negative, he might do this incase somethin happens to his phone, or he is in a place with poor signals or whatevs, dont just assume things
Maybe knows he has a internet access but not phone.
He is traveling to a new cell zone so updating makes perfect sense and is just trying to make sure you have a way to contact him in case he is in places with no signal.
Get a fucking grip
Because an email won't interrupt him while he's banging someone.
Are you serious or sarcastic
I don't pretend to know your boyfriend but he just seems a jerk Lol.
Is he in the service?
Why not take you? That red flag
