Are aesthetics more important than personality?

I've noticed that many men and women prefer looks over personality. And the strange thing is when both men and women put looks before personality they end up with just a good-looking person with a very horrible personality.

The reason I'm asking this question is that it has a lot to do with the Amber Heard Case. In my opinion, this is a case of how " Beauty doesn't mean a good woman." And I think some men get caught up in the beauty of a woman and realize they are in a relationship with a beast underneath.

No, personality is definitely more important; however, since attractiveness is on a spectrum, it's possible for someone to be so attractive or unattractive to a particular person that they take leave of their senses.
