Some guys think they need sex. Some know that they can have a connection with or without and it doesn’t matter to them. Not all of the first type are bad, they can be really great guys but are unfortunately focus too much on the physical. It’s great that he is being honest with you. However, respect yourself and your body and don’t be with someone that won’t wait for you. The right guy will wait for you to feel comfortable and ready, and there are guys like that out there.

I don't think he understands what dating is. Dating is having multiple girlfriends (while being honest about it). You can't have "girlfriends" AND a girl "friend". That's not how it works and you need to explain it to him
