How long should you date before becoming official?

I met a guy on tinder. We have dated for 2,5 month now. We have gon in total on 6 dates. Roadtrips, picnic, coffiee etc.

He always comments on how much he enjoys spending time with me. Always take a lot of initiative.
we hold hands, i have met some of his friends and he says he want me to meet his parents.

When should one discuss and progress in a relationship?

I think given your progression so far it’s definitely okay to bring it up and start the discussion of making things official.
