After how many dates (on average) are you ready to become official?

There isn't a magic number or amount of time to pass for this. Frankly, after the first date I am pretty sure both know one way or another whether a relationship will materialize.

@Tracey426 We were seeing other people in the early stages and our "getting to know each other" period was pretty slow to say the least. In the first few months we were only seeing each other once a week but things changed very quickly after that.

Probably after a 4 or 5 dates. Likely we would have been getting to know each other through talking/messages before we went on our first date.

For me - its official the moment I tell somebody I like them or the moment they tell me they like me and I approve of the relationship. I don't consider a date to be official - but a declaration of desire is official to me.

Perhaps after the 8th-10th date... perhaps even more! I like to take my time and get to know a person well before allowing them into my life!

It all depends on the couple. Could be as early as 6 dates up to 12, you can’t really put a number on it. It’s a conversation that needs to be communicated. If you want to know where you guys stand, just ask :)

That really depends on the person and how well we get along initially, but generally around 8 for me, unless I really feel a natural familiarity with them.
