How to ask a girl out sports?

I'm an umpire and I talk with this girl fairly regularly she plays on an adult team and coaches a youth team. How do I ask her out without it being super awkward considering I'm technically in charge/boss of the game when I see her. Plenty of games to call though so not a potential future state issue... WWYD

If you've already spoken to her, and have a bit of a rapport, ask after a game if she'd be up to a coffee date with you.

If you haven't spoken to her outside your roles as umpire/player/coach, start there. Try chatting with her after the game. Introduce yourself, try to get a convo going - if you've seen her coach and have a compliment, try that.

If you're worried about conflicts of interest, talk to whatever org schedules you and see if there's anything to be concerned about.
