I'm not going to vote and here's why. There is no normal frequency. Sex is about compatibility. Is it too much for you, or too little. You can even ask him. Also you've been with him for 4 years and you're questioning if he loves you and enjoys the sex? If he says he loves you back when you say it to him there's your answer, as for the sex just ask him if he'd like to do something new or different. The only possible answers to this are "Nah sex is great with you" or "Hmm I think we should try this..."

I think a lot of couples have major issues that prevent them from having sex often. Like overlapping work schedules that limit their free time, maybe a low sex drive, maybe they just aren't in the mood very much.

But you and your boyfriend have something incredibly special and fun. Sex is probably the most powerful love language and it shows that he wants u and not anyone else. So dont worry about the norm, the norm is toxic and problematic lmao.
