Is it normal for couples to be clingy daily together?

I see girls all living with bfs, they do everything together, do errands together, go to all family parties together, all day together like glue. Is this normal? I thought a girlfriend boyfriend was date one time a week only and be alone 24/7?

I never had a guy that would do everything with me and want be with me daily. And I’m seeing all girls have a guy like that and I’m alone like a single girl. And boyfriend do everything without me.

Spending a life together with someone isn't clingy.

The concern I have here is what you are talking about is dating and will never progress to more. It should start out as a date then a few more whenever you want to do them and then upping the time you spend together until you eventually move in etc.

You don't make a best friend by seeing them a few hours once a week do you? Its the same for a relationship - a good one will become your best friend fairly quickly!

Yea me and boyfriend never progress just date one 1x a wk or he go to trips with friend cousins and not me.

That isn't a proper relationship... It sounds like you haven't found the right guy if you are comfortable spending so much time apart. My partner and I just prefer life together as we bring a light to each others lives. Everyone deserves to feel that way...

You need to talk to him then because this isn't a relationship that will work as it is if you want to have those things. I have had 5 serious relationships and I have had numerous others where we have discussed the future where things haven't progressed and been gutted. The most recent being a year ago but since him I found my partner I am with now and so much happier.
Please be careful in thinking there is just one person for us. In a world full of people so easily met you will find someone else you love just as much should this all go badly after having a conversation.
Last night I spoke with mine and I know he never wants to lose me because his life would be empty (his words) right now you are in a situation where he would miss you once a week. This is what needs to change, tell him you want to step things up oh and also he needs to take trips with you too!

No this is not the case. I married someone I thought to be my true love and I would have given my life for him. I am now in love with someone else and happier than ever.
We are lead to believe this is the case from Disney and movies but it isn't real life. Real life there is no happily ever after... There is "And they lived happily ever after... for now. Until stuff gets tough or one of them meets someone else"

I am a clingy type, I am very affectionate, and I really like that closeness or feeling of closeness with a woman.

So its normal for me, but how normal is it in the grand scheme of things, I do not know. But it is something I look for.

In the beginning stages of a relationship is totally normal to be clingy.

After the honeymoon phase is over which is typically 3 to 6 months then it just becomes annoying having someone around which seems like all the time.

Just because someone is married doesn't mean they are clingy.

Clingy means a person won't give you space, texts you a lot or calls you a lot.

That would drive any sane person crazy.
