Friend abused me?

I met a friend and i let her into my life she would always act like she was better than me later on i found she had a criminal record and was arrested for robbery, armed i was so scared of her and she would cobtinue to abuse me with her words when i cut her out she called me a heartless cold bitch , why?

She just sounds like a toxic friend who hid something about her past, not an abuser.
