What do you think about having your very first relationship being poly?

I have never been in a romantic relationship before. I’m 28. I have met someone that I like and he liked me too. However, he is already taken but has asked me to be apart of their poly relationship. I have absolutely NOTHING AGAINST is at all. It’s just I don’t know if I’d want to be apart of that being my first relationship. I want to experience a relationship with only two people involved.
But then I don’t know if that will ever happen.

what do you guys think? what would you do? Or feel about it?

I think I’d have to like both of them to enter the relationship actually.
Relationships are a personal thing, there is no right or wrong.

I am never interested in poly relationships. The way I see it, I really don't like the idea of my partner being physically intimate with anyone else. I also don't like the idea of someone else potentially spending more time with them than me. And finally, I don't like the idea of someone else maybe knowing more about my partner than me. Call me a selfish person, but I could never do a poly. I'm a very visual person and even just visualizing these things would be painful.
