What has been your experience with polyamory?

I recently tried a polyamorous relationship but the person I was involved with turned out to be an extreme narcissist and it made me weary of trying polyamory again. Has anyone had positive experiences with polyamory? Tell me about your journey.

Funny mostly people who are that way have those relationships! Really most just one one head ache not like 4 to contend with.

Sorta a pan poly situation, it only lasted a few months but put a very bad taste in my mouth when it comes to stuff like that. I realized that person was using polyamory as an excuse to have no consequences and do whatever they wanted.

Yeah most poly relationship again! Not saying there are not good ones maybe but most are just selfish and use religion as an excuse to be awful 😞 or Thier beliefs

You could meet a narcissist in any monogamous relationship. Polyamory has nothing to do with it. As with everything, it works for some but not for all. It takes maturity, open mindedness and selflessness to make poly relationships work, but not everyone has these qualities
