How can I find out if a guy I'm dating has lied about me?

Been dating a guy at work. We haven't slept together, but something he said made me believe he's lied and told a couple of people in work we've slept together. He seemed to slip up. I asked if he had said it, but he said he hadn't told anyone that. So I let it go

But the people who I thought he'd said it to have started acting different towards me

Is there anything I can do or say to find out if he's lied, without directly asking the people I think he's lied to?

Mention in how long you haven't had sex in if the sex topic ever shows up, if it's been a long time then this dude will come to mind and they will question themselves about who is lying, if they ask you then you respond, I feel like if it's been quite a time since you have last had sex then it's a trap these people will most likely not be able to resist and they will ask something to get the answer. That is an assumption tho

Because if he's lied then I wouldn't date him again. He wouldn't be the person I think he is
