Is it weird to ask a guy to hang out last minute on Saturday evening?

I’m debating texting this guy I met once and who said he’d be down to hang out again and offering if he wants to hang out again tonight at my place. Is this too last minute/would I seem to desperate/boring?

No. Hanging out is just that. There’s nothing weird about it. I ask my friends to hang out last minute all the time. And yeah I’ve also done it with people I just recently met too.
