Boyfriend ignoring me?

Had to cancel on a night out with my boyfriend of 15months because of severe period pain (I have endometriosis which makes me bedridden for a few days).
I had been messaging him throughout the day telling him I had been crying laying on the floor and was so sore. When I said I wasn't able to go out that night to a small concert at a bar (tickets were $40 each) I asked if he could take his brother or someone else he said he couldn't and that it was a waste of money. I replied that I'd send him the money and that it wasn't my fault and I haven't heard from him since.

Not sure what to do.
Any advice?

What an asshole he sounds like. Doesn’t sound like he cares for you in my opinion.
A friend of mine gets really bad period pains. One day had to ring her boyfriend to pick her up and take her to the hospital because she couldn’t even stand or walk. He was out with friends and dropped everything that second and came. That’s someone who cares and won’t hold it against you.
I mean you can’t help that?
When he does message you back you tell him how he’s made you feel. Literally write a paragraph about how shit that is of how he acted and the door is open for him to leave if he’d like

If he can't understand what you are going through and be sympathetic for you then he's no type of man. You can't help it that you have that condition. It was thoughtful of you to offer to give him the money for your ticket.

Well... I mean things happen and if you're having personal problems. How would he feel if he got sick and said he can't go on a date because of it and you started ignoring him?

I mean long as you gave him good heads up and this was not like a nonrefundable thing then fine! Things happen sometimes
