Depends on the guy your trying to get I guess. There are plenty of guys that like plus sized ladies out there. I am assume since loosing weight is mentioned you are on the plus size. But really it depends on YOU. skinny or plus size.. confidence important. A guy likes a woman that is confident in them selves and comfortable in their own skin. Regardless of weight. I have dated ladies that were 100 pounds and would not go to the beach or go swimming because they were too self conscious. I have dated women that were 300+ And LOVED the beach and didn’t give a shit what people said. I liked the later more. Not only because I like plus sized women but because she had confidence.


What ever you choose be it loose weight. Or not. Gain confidence and comfort in your own skin. That will be far more valuable then what your scale says or your pants size is.

You probably should ignore everything that women tell you. Have women ever had the ability to be honest and self reflective? When was the last time a woman told you a hard truth?

Look, realizing you're a little chubby doesn't have to be the end of the world. You should work on yourself, get healthy and fit, and see if you can't get better at finding love with your newfound discipline and good looks.

Not to say that all men are "shallow" and that someone won't love you for who you are on the inside. But being a smoking hottie doesn't hurt your chances, right?

It takes effort to be a winner, and to achieve your goals, and what you're doing right now isn't working for you, right? You can step it up. I believe in you.

The most likely explanation is that they're coming at it from two very different perspectives. The females are primarily trying to keep up your morale and self-confidence, perhaps also thinking that confidence is what will get you a partner whereas the males are giving you practical advice on how to get more guys interested in you. It's hard to say who's "right" without knowing what you look like, your personality and whatever else you'd bring to a relationship. A woman with a really good personality will generate the same interest at a somewhat higher weight than one who has a less than average personality.

As you pointed out, you're interested in guys; so, why the hell are the opinions of other girls on your looks even relevant? That's like me asking my dog if I'm appealing to women or not- it doesn't make sense.

Besides, women will hype each other up ridiculously, and ultimately they're not the ones who are going to dictate whether or not you're attractive to guys. Tip: DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM.

Be healthy. If you can exercise regularly, run marathons, bench plenty of pounds, then who cares what weight you are? If it's an indicator of how unhealthy and sedentary you are, then of course you should "lose weight" (which really just means exercise more and eat healthy).
