Have I ruined it with this guy I really like? ?

So me and this guy started chatting two weeks ago and met up for a first date last week! He’s been initiating loads of chats and sending me photos of his family etc. two days ago his tone completely changed. He said he’s not looking for something serious (texting every day) right now. We’ve sort of arranged a second date he said he’d get back to me for either a Thursday or Friday. He’s looking at my stories but not responding at all, he’s had a busy week but not even a second to respond? Should I give up? Or wait? Maybe something has happened. Perhaps I was too intense which I get, i want to respect his wishes and not annoy him, I really like him.

Well, either he decided he's just not that into you (sorry but that can happen quickly), or he has commitment issues. You have two choices, give him some time or move on. If he is worth giving some patience to AND it doesn't leave you in emotional turmoil (i. e. interfere with your work and quality of life) then I would say give him patience. He sounds like a good guy who got scared.

Time and tide wait for no man and neither should you. Go about your life, date others if you get an opportunity. Maybe he’ll ask you out again, maybe you will want to go.
