He’s verbally abusive with me when he’s drunk?

me and the guy I’ve been seeing for 8 months are due to go on holiday together for 12 days in two days time. Tonight he got drunk (I was sober as I’d been in work) and he turned on me out of nowhere. He got pissed off at me for finishing work an hour early even though I’d already told him I was going to. He then called me a loser and kept calling me a moron. Telling me the holiday was cancelled and that he never wants to see me again. I kept asking him where this was coming from as it was out of the blue but he couldn’t give me a proper answer. He kept talking down to me and saying he wasn’t bothered about losing the money (he had paid for me to go) and If he had to go on holiday on his own. He really upset me especially because he was doing all of this in my place of work (I work in a pub) and I felt embarrassed. Eventually he apologised to me and said he loved me and that he doesn’t mean to be like that with me. I just feel really awkward now because we’re due to go in less than two days and I don’t know how to feel

Something has pissed him off money wise but I suggest not going, no matter what his excuse is it's not right for him to talk to you like this and if he's done it once, he will do it again and he will apologize again.

If he's not got you a ticket and only got himself one, what makes you sure he will get you one so soon.

Don't let him be on the verge of controlling you because sounds like he is starting to try to intimadate you. if you stay with him be careful and if he does try and be a d!(k again, dump his a$$
