Is she not interested or just not into texting?

There’s this girl from school that I like. We’ve hung out a bunch one on one, and she’s great in person, but when we text, she sometimes takes 2 days to reply. However, when I look at the last time she’s been online on other platforms, it also says she hasn’t been online in 2 days. Is this girl not interested, or is she just not into texting? She’s never not replied to me.

Both probably. If she were interested in you that way she'd be willing to modify her phone habits. Right? If she liked you and you and her only had each other's social media handles, then she'd be checking it every day hoping to talk to you.

Or if she really hates your preferred medium so much she'd suggest an alternative, she might even just straight up tell you that she prefers real life dating instead.

So tough luck, you don't have a good in to get her to talk to you more. I'd suggest you play it cool and reevaluate. You might be able to doing something else to be attractive to her like join the football team or something. But you texting her and getting to know her and gradually becoming close, she's just not interested at this point in time.

If she's seriously interested she should be replying. If she's interested and still waiting to reply then she's messing up, because she's playing games.

Even if she's busy she should take the time to at least reply and say she's busy and that she'll get back to you later. She's setting you up for ghosting that will come, and stalling hoping you'll interest.

If you've hung out that much and she knows you, then she's stalling hoping you will lose interest and just giving courtesy replies for the shake of the friendship hoping you'll lose interest. But if she was interested then she'd be more responsive.
