Do you have any good advice for anyone in a first date?

Make sure you talk and ask lots of questions! Too many first dates nowadays are more about sizing each other up and doing something lame, like watching a movie. In reality, this is about testing whether or not you enjoy spending time with them in a one-on-one setting!

Thanks for your helpful advice :) as I have social anxiety, it makes it harder to talk effortlessly, but I'll try haha, but I think that I should avoid turning the date into an interview, am I correct?

To an extent. Jokes are a WONDERFUL way to ease the tension, and I guess it kind of depends on what you're trying to get out of it. It should be fun, but it's either FOR fun, or to establish whether or not you are good for each other.

My professor once said that dating is basically a job interview - show off your best stuff, make them want you. Engagement is where some of the truth should come out, and marriage is when you REALLY see each other.

Plan a surprise. Something fun that you will share once on the date. Could be an activity, a story, something to share. But have it ready and if the date is going well then lead her into it. Not only will you feel excited to share but she will feel cherished and special.

2. You still don't know this person well so be careful what information you share with them. Specifically don't share where you work or where you live.
