First date advice?

So I’m hanging out with this guy for the first time really soon. We’ve met before, but we’ve never hung out one on one. He offered to pick me up from home and then we’re going to an arcade. I’m so nervous, probably due to inexperience but I need advice please!!
When I get out of my house and walk into his car, what do I say and do? I don’t just wanna say, “hey, how are you’”, I wanna say something to stand out. & do you think I should go in for a hug when I get in his car? I don’t want to come off as overly flirtatious but if I do flirt I want it to be very subtle. I want him to be the one to pursue me, you know?
Also, do you think going to an arcade is a good first date idea?

So, if you’re a guy, what would you like done if you were in his situation & if you’re a girl and have experience with this sort of thing please give me your advice

You can start the date off with a corny joke. Then hug him, and say, "Ok, let's go!"

And obviously hug him on the doorstep when he's standing still. You can't hug him in a car, that's almost logistically impossible.

You might want to ask for music on the car ride there, just so that there's no shitty distracting small talk, and so he can focus on driving an not get on the wrong freeway. Plus chill music can maybe help you relax so you don't put your foot in your mouth.

Actually if you could make him a mix cd that would be really endearing.

Remember, you don't have to be constantly speaking. You and him are good. You can have a moment of silence, that doesn't have to be weird.

If you run out of things to say, just smile and look into his eyes and giggle.

I think the hug is a good idea and then just tell him how you feel about the date on the car ride over. Just be yourself and ask him questions that you have about him. Telling him that your nervous will come off as cute. The arcade is a good idea. It was his choice anyway, right? On the ride home, try and set up a second date. Good luck.

Smile and show friendly body language and be responsive to whatever conversation topic he brings up, but don't try too hard to be interesting and talk too much. Be mysterious and don't laugh at stuff you don't find funny.

First off I would come and get you at your house so your parents could meet me and I will be introduced your parents. You don't need to give him a hug. You can say how was your day? Like conversation would be what kind of music do you like? Have you gone to any of their concerts? Talk about some of the games that you both like to play.

I think this depends. You could try for a hug. Just don’t make him uncomfortable. Go with your gut. If you feel that it’s the right time for a hug. Go for it. If not then don’t. Or just ask him.

Just behave like with a close comfortable friend. Be yourself but could do these things.

1. Wear nice dress and perfume.

2. If you wanna create a hot mood, Stare seductively for 3,4 seconds when you get a chance. Then go near him, whisper in his ears that he looks damn hot or something, while your lips touch his ears.

4. Be touchy. Touch his hands, back, let your body touch his occasionally. Lean on him if you get a chance to.
