To be clear. When I said "housewife" I meant as in traditional housewife that does all the domestic things like cooking, cleaning and general domestic etc.. while the husband is at work not just stays home and does nothing

Both. I would want her to have a career before we have kids, then home with our kids, taking care of them and the home stuff while the kids are young, then maybe go back to work when they are in high school. Sooo many of the problems we have in society today can be linked directly or indirectly to insufficient parental involvement when kids are younger. Sorry but daycare workers don't love our children, teach them the thousands of little lessons and make those important human bonds with them the way only a mother can.

I’d like more a housewife, because in that way at least one of us can make some time for kids and for organise and settle things… having both parents in career and distant is harmful for the kids.
Obv this choice doesn’t mean that I don’t want women to pursue career, I appreciate a lot if women have their independence and I wish they can assume a good role in future societies.

I want neither to be honest. I want someone in the middle. I want her to be able to be at home if she wants or get a job that she likes.

But I just don't want a wife who is a "Career Woman" meaning that she is at work more than she is home at night.

I voted A, but to me the perfect wife is educated and capable, but leaves the workforce when we have kids to care for them and give them the immense benefit that comes only from having a real mother whose life revolves around her children when they are young. But once the kids are older and more self sufficient she will go back to work and contribute financially.

why should I work while my partner sits and watches TV, prevents us getting a better house, paying off mortgage earlier, brings in a bigger pension for retirement.

When I say "house wife" I mean as it does all the cooking, cleaning etc.. while the man is work. Not just sits at home

I pay a cleaner at this moment.

Before then I did my own, managed to work, do my own cooking, batch meals,
It takes zero time to run a hoover around house.

My ex wife managed a career and a child and house work.

The main things though.

An extra £40k per year coming into house hold budget, the pension she gets when retiring.
That extra cash means a better house, nicer area etc, also means better return on house when you sell it, as better houses increase by greater %
