What are ways to get back into dating after 5 years of being on the road?

Last month marks the first time I settled into a city for a second year since 2016. I have decided after this project im getting a non contract job and will keep the friends i have made. It was weird but i can actually say I have a small group that I can hang with where no dating prospects will be considerded. I have ruined friend groups cause of relationships that ended and this won't happen again. Outside of that I am on Bumble and use the wait and see who likes my account approach rather then swipe all day. What other approaches or methods to dating outside of friend groups should i take? I have never used facebook, instagram, or twitter before and would prefer to avoid them if possible.

While apps are all good. Convenient. Easy. Low commitment and if done a little lightheartedly not soul crushing but fun, they also do not give the best chances to many (although a fun, normal profile seriously does wonders).

Instead anywhere you would actually interact with people is great. Any hobby? Cooking? Climbing? Library visits? While I wouldn't engage in an activity like that to date, it is good fun for you. You might get some new skills or experiences and to top that off new friends, social circles and potential romantic interests.
