Free time doesn't happen by chance, you know. You have to communicate and work around the other person's schedule.
@Jamie05rhs Of course. However I was talking about work schedules lining up, not being unwilling to share social time with one another. I almost always work Monday through Friday, and during the day. A few years back I was briefly seeing a girl who worked as a hotel concierge. Her regular work schedule was Wednesday through Sunday, and during the evening. We're also both single parents. Needless to say it didn't work out, because it wasn't fair to either of us to have to request off of work from our regular work schedules a few times a month just to be able to hang out for more than 10 minutes and/or more than once a month.

@Jamie05rhs Well it wouldn't have be fair for either of us to expect the other to completely change our careers just to hang out with one another. As single parents, we have to think about supporting our kids first.

(Though EVENTUALLY I suppose that might happen. Within 2 or 3 years. But hey, it's worth it if you have found true love. No job is more important than your soulmate.)
I do get the kids thing, though. I understand that that makes things tougher. I feel for you, man. I'm proud of you for being a good dad, though! ✊

I don't know specifically what happened with you but usually i do this when a girl expects me to jump through a bunch of hoops and chase her around. Literally have other girls asking me for a date and not playing games like im a circus animal. So usually last ditch effort ill say something like "another girl asked me out tonight already" or something like that and see if she acts like an adult and either straightens up or else i just stop talking to her completely. My time is too valuable for someone to jerk me around.
this isn't the case with me I've met men who do this the first day we meet or when things are going really good i dont play games but constantly talking about how you miss your ex and all the women who flaunt over you at work will just push me away. this guy i was just recently dated did the from the first day to the last and it made me feel insecure so i slowly stopped texting and calling and it eventually ended and he noticed…. like why are you mad? i thought you had soooo many love interests. the things is i had other offers but i would never flaunt that to someone im dating because just like people may want you, its people that want her TOO
Oh yeah that does seem a bit much... i agree. But it is different between men and women. ALL women get men after them, even bitchy old fat nasty ones. Most men get zero women after them. So tbh many women react favorably if they know other women are after a man. Thats why men will let that info out.
im a bit different that actually runs me away because in my mind you’re telling me my chances with you are low and that im competing with other women who could have many advantages over me. i could be completing with someone for example, prettier, has more money, maybe ones with no children (i have one child), someone who better in bed, etc. i know life is about competition sometimes but if i dont know about any other women ill be myself snd show you my big heart. also he told me that white women hit on him all the time at work like how can my black ass compete with that lol?
