Absolutely not.
Introvert's brains simply work differently.
I'm an introvert but I learned that it's an extrovert's world so I had to stop getting passed over and overlooked and find my voice when it was appropriate.
You're not broken, just different.

  My Mom found this book.
  She'd dealt with years of abuse growing up. And she was an introvert. She thought they were connected and was always down on herself for it. She got therapy for the abuse and the therapist also suggested this book. It explained so much. She'd criticized herself for decades simply because she didn't understand.
  To see my mom suddenly blossom in her 50's... what a joy.

I know some pretty assertive/aggressive introverts. They just don't like to be around people but they won't take shit from anyone.

  @randomguy1030 I think it is just personality traits, extroverts thrive on being around people and being social, introverts are drained by it, they prefer solitude or small groups. Ambiverts are in the middle.

Lol no, but I can see how you'd assume that if you don't know any other introverts. Just because they don't interact as much, doesn't mean those interactions have to be submissive. It's not like they even have to be submissive when they don't interact. My wife is an introvert and she can easily be more dominating in conversation than I am, or make one comment to assert her opinion and not speak the rest of the time.

Also, they don't trust much people and are very careful with them.

No, not at all. "introverted" simply means the person is very private and expects others to respect that. Some introverted people can be very aggressive and dominant in certain situations.
