What would you assume (about both yourself and the ghoster), if someone acted highly interested but ghosted you without warning?

The term is "mosting", when they act highly interested, then ghost you and fall off the face of the Earth, without any explanation or effort to give the person any closure. How would you react to being treated like that?

What would you assume about yourself and the person doing the ghosting?

What would you to to resist getting bored or burned out after an experience like that. And what steps would you take to make sure you don't get sucked into negative self talk (stuff like "maybe they played me for a fool", "something about me might repel or disgust")?

What would you assume (about both yourself and the ghoster), if someone acted highly interested but ghosted you without warning?
