My dates keep ending with guys ghosting me?

So I’ve been on a few days with guys, and the cycle keeps repeating! Chat for a week meet up and eventually they ghost me.. it’s really pissing me off. I feel like I’m myself and we have a good connection. The only thing that’s bugging me is I feel guys build up a fantasy of what I’m like online and I don’t meet that in real life (appearance wise) Im not crazy self conscious. But obviously Instagram posts are posed lighting etc. it’s so annoying they think this way! They’ll chat to me after for a week and then just disappear, maybe with online dating guys are just always looking for the next thing … sigh.. what’s up with that?

Hard to give an answer because you don't offer any specific details. You should repost the question but rephrase it "Why did this guy ghost me? " Then give all of the details of your interactions. We can really give better advice. Your question is so vague here that you'll get silly answers from beta males like "you are beautiful" or "he doesn't deserve you" or "don't give up; love is around the corner". Guys who talk to "Instagram models" on Instagram are usually only doing so because they think you look like your picture, or because they think you're going to be really easy. So when they realize that neither of those are true they ghost.

Maybe you're not one of those Instagram model type girls, that was just my general observation of how it goes with those types of men though.

Don't provide filtered/edited/posed Instagram photos for them (or if you're finding them that way, send them unfiltered pics). It's deceptive to do that. Of course that doesn't excuse the ghosting - that's immature BS.
And yeah, unfortunately online dating has become more of a meat market/grass is always greener situation in recent years (wasn't quite like that when I was doing it 20 years ago). I've been doing it since I got divorced 7 years ago, and I've had only marginal success. I've all but given up on it at this point.

Have you considered the possibility that you aren't volunteering enough of your personality for the men to really connect with? I've had a number of dates where the woman seemed really sweet, but she was just boring. I didn't dislike her or anything; I just didn't know anything about her. She didn't tell me anything about who she is as a person.

You're being your authentic self, and men are still ghosting you; so that means that either your authentic self is a turn off, or you aren't really giving men anything to want to know more about.

however I’ll through my 2 cents extra, men usually love a chase it makes everything about my woman better. Sorta primal instinct I suppose on a psychological level. That said, yes we do tend to fantasize about about the girl we’re meeting. Sometimes when we meet in person they exceed and sometimes they don’t. A lot of the time, it’s because they have other girls chatting them. Guys do it cause girls do it, and vice versa. So if you give in too easy we leave cause to us what was worth it? And to us how easy would you cave to another man? However this doesn’t mean there aren’t anomalies.
