My boyfriend says he doesn't want to have sex because he’s not “feeling like it”, is this normal or should I be worried?

Has been almost a week now and still the same answer, he’s been a bit distant too (not hugging and kissing ) but still wants to spend every day with me…. what does this mean and what should I do?

Most likely, it's just stress or strain; while the stereotype is that guys want sex, always and all the time, the reality is more complicated (general life tip: regardless of what you're talking about, the reality is almost ALWAYS more complicated). A week probably seems like a long time, especially if you've been very sexually active in the past, but many times mental stressors can take a lot of time to process through. If he still wants to hang out with you, that's a good sign- he doesn't want you to feel neglected or abandoned; he still cares about you. Not wanting to talk about it is NOT a good sign, but it may just be that he's the kind of person who defaults to trying to solve all his problems himself.

If he's unwilling to talk about it and you're still concerned (which it sounds like is the case), I'd suggest doing something nice for him- something together that you know he likes, that isn't sexual. It may help him open up, and even if it doesn't, it may help CHEER him up, and motivate him to improve things between you. Sometimes a reminder that someone cares can make all the difference.

I'd also think to yourself about what you'd be willing to accept from him, and for how long. Eventually, you're going to want things to go back to normal, or at least START to.

I have tried talking to him, asked him if he’s okay and explained somethings been off with him recently and he just said he’s tired… 🙃

If you haven’t had a conversation with him about all this then you definitely need to. But if you have and he’s doing the same thing, then there’s not much you can do besides rethink that relationship. There’s nothing lonelier in the world than being in a relationship all by yourself. So if he’s losing interest despite what he says vs what he shows, then you shouldn’t put yourself through the hurt of feelings undesired anymore.

It usually comes down to LOOKS. If he thought you were sexy and hot, he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off you.
