I'm a middle class office worker and a good saver, but sometimes I'm worried it's not enough. It seems like women need their men to be higher earners than them to be desirable. It just feels like our society is growing ever materialistic, and women need to have a huge house and and a lot of possessions to be happy, or for the relationship to be worth it.

A lot of social media is about the grind to get rich, but a lot of those people have very dishonest and immoral side hustles, plus, in reality, the earth couldn't survive so many rich people consuming so many resources.
