Not a requirement in the least. The thought that I would limit my personal career success, and by default, the financial stability of my family because of some idiotic idea that I can't make more than my husband is just preposterous. 😂😂😂😂

I'm the breadwinner in my family. It doesn't bother me at all. My friend, however, didn't want to ask for a raise because then she would make $0.50 more an hour than her husband and that mentality is just mind boggling to me. It all goes into the same account anyway; all you're doing is crippling your family's ability to succeed financially and build generational wealth.

I never cared. As long as he can support himself. I actually make more than him. If he made more than me, that’d be good too. Ultimately, it doesn’t keep me up at night 🌸
