Whoever asked the other person out should theoretically be the one paying, but both parties should be open to a suggestion of going Dutch if necessary (especially if one party eats/drinks significantly (financially) more than the other).


If it is a concern, you can always ask beforehand, and work something out, or bring extra money just to be safe. If the person purposely gets a lot of food/drinks (and is rude about it or you can tell they’re only in it for the free meal), just ask the waiter to split your bill.

If a girl is lying to me about one thing I’m concerned about what else she is lying about and it’s unlikely that dinner will become an issue. And before anyone gives me any crap about the issue at hand it’s an integrity issue before weight ever mattered.
