Did not having sex create a potential relationship here?

Anonymous

So, funny story, I took a girl out the other night and it really wasn't going well.

I was approached by a female acquaintance of mine and ended up spending the rest of the night talking to her and having fun at the bar. We ended up accidentally bonding over having a similar bad experience with something.

Sooner or later at home time she ended up coming back and staying at my place because she couldn't get home. We cuddled and talked all night but ended up not having sex, we were going to and got interrupted by a food delivery. Maybe turned out to be a good thing because now we seem more serious.

She invited me out the next day and we had fun again, this time she wanted to introduce me to her friend, everything went well and again I spent the night with her at her friends house with similar circumstances to the previous day. Except we also spent most of the day cuddling and watching tv. Holding hands a bit too.

Went out for lunch with these friends and I seem to have clicked pretty well with them, which is nice.

The time came to go home and she has invited me out again tonight to go drinking, not even 5 minutes after we said bye she texted me saying "not long to go, can't wait to see you again!" and thanking me for the deep conversations.

Seems quite fast but this is a bit more than just friendship, isn't it?

We've now seen each other 3 days in a row.

It seems the fact we didn't have sex the first night means this has developed into more relationship potential. She did tell me she trusts me much more because of that.

I'm hoping it goes where it seems to be going, she's a nice one.

We ended up talking about it, both feel the same way and have a real date set up soon. Happy days.
