I have a new boyfriend but I noticed he's getting super busy with his friends is this a bad sign?

"Super busy" and "with friends" is not exactly two things that go together. He's making a choice, isn't he? Unless it's like an already-scheduled weekly thing they do, like a sport, poker game, etc.

Usually people in new relationships are are all souped up with chemicals and really want to spend a lot of time together. Especially if there's sex happening. The fact that he's consistently choosing them... is he? You need to be honest and objective about that, and not monopolize all of his time... it could be a sign he doesn't appreciate you much. But you gave no details here, so this is just vague advice, not based on much.

As long as he takes time to make you feel like the priority. Hopefully, he is smart enough to realize this. His priorities with a girlfriend have changed. How old is this guy?

I would say so, typically if I have a new girlfriend I want to spend as much time possible with her
