My boyfriend and I have been together for about 7 months now, and things are good. However, I'm starting to wonder if I'm really in a healthy relationship. He lives about 5 minutes away from me, but I only get to see him about once a week or maybe twice, for a few hours each hangout. We're both 20, and both have jobs. He has three part time jobs and does two different martial arts so he's pretty busy… but then he hangs out with his friends every night. I don't demand to see him every day, or even every other day… but I at least would like him to take initiative to see me or even contact me despite our busy schedules. Even though I'm super busy, I still find ways to see him and talk to him. But sometimes he will go a day without talking to me and sometimes two. Which would be fine once in a while, but for the past couple weeks it's been like that. We don't talk on the phone, (he hates calling) so I rely on his messages and communication to keep the relationship alive. I've talked to him about it before, but now it seems like things are drifting again. He loves me, and I love him, and I don't try to bombard him with messages either. I give him space and wait for him to contact me instead because I got tired of putting in all the work myself in the relationship, but when I do, I just end up getting ignored. I'm not sure if I'm being to clingy or if my needs are selfish, but I'm just not sure what to do?
hmm...sounds like he's getting ready to break up with you.it typically happens when they would rather hangout with their friends.of course, he could just want some time away from the relationship and hell come back.id advise not going out of your way to talk to him and see what happens,if it persists, have a sit down convo with him.
