I only get a text or two from him a day…?

I like this guy I met recently but I only get a text or two a day. I get he has a busy schedule but it’s kinda making me question whether he’s actually interested or if he’s just humoring me. Should I straight up ask him if he’s interested and risk losing him or should I just wait and hope that he’ll let me know on his own time?

I've been in a similar situation. By texting once or twice a day, so you mean just 1-2 texts a day?

Or do you mean you engage in a conversation 1-2 times a day?

If he is only sending you 1-2 texts a day (i. e his texts are consistently 4-5 hours apart), then he is either playing hard to get or he isn't that into you. This has happened to me before, and I later found out that the guy was just playing hard to get. Lemme know which one and I can elaborate if you want :)

One or two texts. Like he’ll respond to what I said last, I’ll respond to that and he may or may not respond again. But then it’s the next day by time he does.

That doesn't seem like a good thing. It will drain your mental energy.

Only texting twice a day doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not interested. He could be busy like you say, or shy or just not keen on texting.

If I was you and I liked him and was interested in getting to know him, I think I’d straight up ask him if he’d like to meet up, instead of relying on text. Then you’ll know if he’s interested in getting to know you better and can take it from there.

Neither, you should understand that MOST guys DO NOT like to text. For whatever reason girls can't/won't understand this. Adjust your communication accordingly.
