Well. I'd come out of a short relationship in January 2011 and that was it, never wanted to date again. Had enough of women. Sure I flirted but wasn't genuinely wasn't looking.

One day this funny Dutch woman appeared on a friend's feed on Facebook. She explained she was given an old computer, had never been on the internet before and apologised if it took a while to reply as she was using dial up connection.

So we got to chatting, she liked my sense of humour, my Youtube videos and music I liked. Numbers were exchanged and she called me. She said she loved my voice (I have been told by many women I have a sexy phone voice) and ended up calling me every night.

Around August she was saying she needed a vacation and I jokingly said 'Why don't you come here?'. To my surprise she said she would and in September she stayed with me for a week.

On the Thursday before she left she told me loved me. I took her to the airport on the Saturday, we both cried as she left and I thought that was the end of it. Two weeks later she told me she was going to sell everything and move to England to be with me.

At 11.11 am on the 11th of November 2011 (11/11/11/11) She came through the arrivals gate and we've been together 11 years this November. Which will be 11/11/11/11/11 lol

Hi! Well, mine is a bit of an interesting one. Okay, so some background. I work at a medical practice as an office admin in a large city in India. That means I get my hands dirty in a lot of different functions in the office, all the way down to discharging patients.

So! In walks this guy one day. He immediately stood out because he is Australian. He was in to get his foot checked from a sports injury. He was very handsome and at discharge for that appointment, I noticed there was a return checkup required.

So, I got to talk to him briefly. He was very polite and just had an overall way about him that I found attractive. The days that followed, I kept thinking about him. I decided that I would make a move if I thought he was into me on his final discharge.

So, after his checkup appointment, I casually flirted and struck up a conversation. Things just seemed like they clicked, so I asked him if he wanted to have lunch sometime. He said (with that dreamy Aussie accent) "It would be my pleasure, darling".

I about fell off my chair. We went to lunch and the rest is history. We are now engaged and marry at the end of the year. He is sitting right next to me as I type out this story.
