I've myself been delayed even longer, one or two hours, but there were reasons and I explained things is not like I would just leave them on the blind and wandering about what's going on, lol

If she’s 40 mins late. But is telling me she’s on her way, I would ask how much longer till she gets there.


Whatever time she gives me I’ll wait that amount of time. (So long as it’s reasonable and realistic)


Once that amount of time passes, I’m leaving.

From personal experiences I'll give a 30 minute grace period as long as they keep you posted but if they don't answer your calls or texts I will have alternative plans and head out for the night and if they actually call 90 minutes later telling me they arrived I'll tell them I'm in the shower and be out in a moment and let them wait outside and not answer anymore of their calls/texts then they will call me the asshole 😇😊🤣
