How patient should you be about people who are late?

So I planned on hanging put with this girl today. We were going to go on my boat and she was going to bring her two kids. I told her we could go like 9:30 or 10 and she agreed. Well it's 11 and haven't heard from her to see whether or not she was going to meet me at my house or the boat ramp. So then she called while I was on the phone with someone else, so I called back and got no answer. I guess the phone hung up on her because my phone never notifies me when someone else is calling unless im looking at the screen. I sort of had already sent her an irritated text because it was my birthday and I felt like she stood me up. She was probably just sleeping, but I'm just tired of putting up with people that ghost me and are just totally disrespectful of my time.

I can't stand late people like a few mintues isn't a big deal but over a hour I start getting mad. I have some family members that love being late and they drive me nuts

I think I overreacted a bit blaming a lot of my past experiences on her, but oh well.

Because you lied about the time when you wrote about your situation.. that’s my point there. And yeah, I agree.. because my standards are high and when someone’s late, it’s very disrespectful in my book.. and on top of that, it took her 5 hours to finally reach you. Not cool.

Why do so many women think it's okay to cancel and or not show up without giving any kind of notice or explanation? Then the other part is that they get so offended when the guy doesn't just tuck his head down and be okay with it.

It’s ok to cancel, as long as the person gives a heads up but I already told you I agree with you.
