I was 30 minutes late for our first date with my SO, due to a nasty accident that closed the road and I was stuck in it. Fortunately, she didn't hold it against me... together 7 years and counting.

Perfectly acceptable for a one of occasion, but if it became a regular thing then it would seriously start raising my doubts.

Not that it would ever get that far, for the simple reason I would have been saying something about this beforehand.
