My question is why would they feel the need to say something like that to me? Why would they put me in an uncomfortable situation when they don't need to. "Hey this hot guy is working out with me." or "Hey this hot woman is sitting next to me." What benefit is there to saying something like that to your SO? That's just unnecessary and stupid in my view.
