Do you like talking to the people you're riding with, or would you rather sit in complete silence the whole time?
I personally don't like talking to the driver or passengers, as an introvert.

I was a cab driver and It was hard for me. Women are the worst passengers, because they can't take a hint. Guys are better at picking up when I don't want to hear their shit, but women don't care. They just need to talk.
"When I get home I still have at least three loads of wash to do. I don't know what I'm making for dinner. My husband likes spaghetti but Johnny wants mac & cheese. I might have to go to the store, but it just depends on what I have on hand. Our last house had a giant pantry, so we could store more food. But the roof leaked and I hated that..."
It was all I could do to not swerve into an oncoming dump truck and end it all. lol
And as odd as this might sound, my favorite passengers were killers, rapists and drug dealers. They're all remarkably quiet. They keep their mouths shut, and pay and tip.
I insist on being left alone! Please...
Not to be rude, but when I am traveling or commuting, that's my "me time" to prepare for work, or wherever I'm going. Unless it's a quick question, I typically avoid small talk or chatting with people when traveling- that's why I keep my phone and/or headphones with me at all times. Usually if people see you with headphones in your ear, or see you on your phone, they typically leave you alone.
Well at least I will say hello how are you today but as far as carrying on a conversation it sort of depends on the person sitting next to me. Some people obviously do not want to talk and I won't disturb such people and other people are very interested in talking and I've had great conversations with them. I once had a very prolonged and interesting conversation with a young woman who turned out to be a pornstar and she told me all about the safety precautions they take and what it was like to work in this industry. Interestingly, she was intelligent and articulate which were things I would have expected from someone who worked in p***.
I try to and the responses are either positive or negative.
it's funny how we're told to go outside to meet and talk to someone and everyone just wants to keep their mouth shut or they want you to keep your mouth shut.

Taxi cab, what's that? Kidding of course, they don't have those here anywhere that I've seen... but on a train or plane, I talk to people. I can take hints though if they don't want to talk. Usually people want to talk to me though for some reason.
I don't mind talking, but I'm never one to initiate, because I'll often assume that the other person would want to be left alone, but if someone wants to talk to me, I'll talk.
It depends on my mood though, like sometimes I want to sit quietly and other times, I'm cool with a conversation.
While Travis of any kind? Not really.. In fact on the bus or train most times, people prefer not to sit next to me, because I live in Chicago which is full of crime, so I can understand the caution.. Plus, I have dreads (which while well kept are drill not seen in the best of lights) and am not exactly small.. Not that I think I really look that intimidating.. Most times if anyone does talk tome it'll be an overly friendly and chatty guy.. But even that's rare..
I love having a conversation with strangers interacting with them , getting to know their story, feeling their vibes, its far better than being stuck on yr phone.,
I don't know why but i feel As you grow older, you'll find that you enjoy talking to strangers far more than to your friends.
I talk to everyone non-stop. Not about myself so much as getting them to tell me their stories. It's fun to learn about people. That's how I learned that we are all the same and hatred is stupid.
I prefer to be quiet and not divulge much information, it's a safety mechanism for me :-). My husband on the other hand is overly chatty, he can't help himself!
I try avoiding any conversation, it's already awkward enough being so near to a stranger. If they try talking, my response will always be a one-liner or a single word.
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't Depends on my mood, whether the other person looks like they would mind being bothered, or whether they speak first.
Man, I just wanna sleep, read or listen to my music/podcasts when traveling. Not talk someone's ear off.
I like to talk lol. I'd defiantly be trying to make a new friend.
I usually talk to them, I’m pretty sociable, probably the one that starts the conversation, makes the ride go faster and less awkward sitting there in silence
Me : finally getting into a taxi and wanting to relax..
Taxi driver : it's time to discuss politics!
I despise public transit for that very reason. But if forced to use it I won't talk to anyone unless the talk first.
I found that some people just do not like it when you approach them first. So I let them approach me first, even if just for a chat. Works that way too. For me.
No infact last time I got on a plane I popped some sleep pills and passed out cause it was like a 7 hour flight. But each time I been on a plane I never spoke to the people next to me.
I would only talk to the person if they talked to me first
I rarely talk to random people, what is the point, it's wasted small talk. I probably won't bump into them again.
Only if they talk to me first. I usually want to talk but I don’t want to bother someone.
I dont talk with them, but i could or į should :), i just find them suspicious, which the problem į have that stops me from enjoying the life.
I’d rather keep to myself if possible.
Never happened to me. But I’d talk to the driver
No , would not talk , no desire to.
Yes I'm one of those talkers.

Yes, I will talk their ear off.
