If she wants to work, she can. I get that she has dreams and aspirations, too. And I get that it helps to have two incomes. I'm not going to control her.
However, if we have kids, I would much prefer that she stays at home where she is safe and comfortable. I don't think her having a stressful job while also trying to raise our kids is a good idea. I would much rather she focus most of her strength nurturing the nest than having her come home from work feeling tired and irritable around the kids when they need her.
It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is , what she wants.
I chose A because I´m not keen on having kids and because I come from a country where it at least seems like women in my generation are at least equally educated so I´m not in a position to ask her to stay at home plus prices are rising and have risen in heights where it gets unrealistic to have just one breadwinner.
Honestly it depends on what she wants. It's kind of hard to survive on one income these days. If she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom then we would make it work.
The only scenario in which I'd want a housewife is if we have multiple kids together and we can afford for her to stay home with them.
She could work at first and then once we have our first kid she could stay home until the kids are all school age. I think that would be best.
never been with one that could not do both... and more as well
I have both. My wife stayed home with the kids for 11 years. When the youngest started school she got a part-time job
I'm not gonna work my butt off for someone else to stay at home all day.
Tough one to answer. If it absolutely came down to it, housewife. That way we can have the same days off together, do about anything together.
Or just hire a cleaner once a week like we do
In today's world, women work,, except for Ms Trump, aka Russian imaginat. My wife suddenly quit her job, FYI she's thinking Lazy till ssi checks. BS
I think I can do housework better than job work. My wife would go to work and bring gelt home.
I'm congenitally sterile, so without children having a housewife would be kind of pointless.
I want a women to be happy and if her career makes her happy I support it 100%
I want to be the house spouse
Combo... my wife is not great at either..
If she wants to work, great, if not, great.
